| Nice speech by our President, but the 88-page plan is a compromise plan of the original overhaul plan that was to rewrite the financial rules. After this proposal has been through our illustrious House of Representatives and Senate (both Republicans and Democrats representing not ordinary people, but the multi-national corporations), I think the loopholes will be large. With the Senate virtually owned by the banks, what chance do we really have for fundamental reform? |
