I have been fortunate enough to find two big old gas grills that were left out in the trash.
This is my 3rd one I have found.
The last one took me a good 30 minutes to take apart.
Any tips on making the process faster? I'll have two to take apart now to take for scrapping.
Thanks

Take a large screwdriver and sledge hammer and bust off the bottom of the grill from the steel base. Remove the brass valves and cut off the hoses. All you have left is steel, wood and plastic. If you are going to turn in steel remove the wood and plastic parts thats left. If you drink beer while doing the breakdown time will not matter!
depends on how picky the scrapyard is..I usually leave the plastic on the grill when hauling steel.busting the cast on the bottom seems to be the fastest way.. phil
