We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness....
... and healthcare, housing, food, education, unemployment benefits, (unearned)social security, food stamps, "earned" income tax credits, WIC, crazy checks, welfare, medicare, medicaid, foriegn aid, crop subsidies, subsidized student loans, section 8 housing.....
Need I go on?
A recent article -- in USSA Today of all places -- points out that 1 in 6 dollars of all "income" in the US today comes from Fed or state handouts.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men,
deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
Don't forget to mention all those fat rich boys that live off of government largess too - Halliburton, multi-center banks, off-shore tax havens, cost overruns, etc. I say if the government is going to spend, let's give the money to some ordinary people instead of these rich bastards. |

Absolutely! - Venezuela, here we come.
I'm lining up with my wheelbarrow to gather as much government largesse as I can before the spigot runs dry, or whenever they decide what the proletariat needs or doesn't need.
