Would two sealed original rolls from 1964 be good to get?
The two coins on the outside are tarnished. Does that means others inside will be tarnished?
Would these be good to be just kept sealed or opened?
What would be a fair price for them?
Thanks

You are going to pay a premium over spot to get them, unless your seller doesn't know they are worth more. A fair price would be about $140 per roll, but maybe you are good negotiator and will get them cheaper.
Tarnished coins on the ends of the rolls are a good sign. It shows you that they are original rolls. Over the years, the end coins will always tarnish, but the coins in the rolls will be blazing beautiful pristine BUs, like the day they were struck.
Would it be better to open the roll? It's sort of like, would it be better to break the seal on a 500 ASE box. It depends what you are going to do with the coins after you break the seal. |

Would two sealed original rolls from 1964 be good to get? Yes!
The two coins on the outside are tarnished. Does that means others inside will be tarnished? Maybe, probably not, The outside ones are the ones with the most contact to the atmosphere.
Would these be good to be just kept sealed or opened? Kind of a tough call. I guess it depends on how bad you want to look at the other coins. If you are just ltrying for maximum profit, sell one on a Ebay, then you'll know what to do with the other one.
What would be a fair price for them? "Fair" is tough to define. I guess a fair price is one that the seller and buyer agree upon. They should go for more than the Ag value.

| no to opening it. it'll be worth more as is. The very most I'd personally pay (if I really wanted this item) is 1.5x silver value. |
