Grocery stores are using this trick too !! All you have to do is check the weight of cans and packages of food you buy, including pet food. Even if the price is unchanged, the size of the can or package has become smaller. For a 16 ounce can downsized to a 15.5 ounce can, you are getting an instant 3% price increase .

The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.

Nothing in the article surprising to me as it is just another gimmick to make a higher profit. Personally, I gave up on using that fuel for heating in 2005 when they wouldn't honor summer contract prices.
