Poll Question:
My hoarding is for the long term. I'm 38 so I'm looking at 25 years out.
Where does everyone see Copper prices 25 years out.
I didn't bother puting an option for a bearish case because I dont see it being realistic that 25 years out Copper is cheaper than now unless for some reason we no longer need it
Please post any reasons for your opnion

Five years ago copper was at about $1.00 a pound. So if copper continues to climb in the future as in the past, I would expect to see at least $20-30 copper.
Off topic; but today (6/2/06) the History Channel is showing a program about the old time copper kings.

Unless the dollar completely fails, I can't see copper at more than $15. But that is just an educated guess.

right now,
1 unit of gold is worth roughly 50 units of silver 1 unit of silver is worth roughly 50 units of copper
if, an uneducated if, everything behaves linearly, copper will get to about 15 dollars a pound(454 grams) if gold goes up to 2500 an ounce(31.1 grams)
i think it's possible in 25 years time
