I was really surprised today after stopping by the coin dealer I usually buy silver from locally, and as he was giving me change for the .999 rounds I bought, I didn't think anything about the pennies he gave me in change until I got out to the car and reached into my pocket to see how much change I had...and the Lincolns in my change were a 1955, 1949 and 1919!! I wonder if the poor guy has just had a long week!

I bought something from a coin shop once...don't really like the shop(overpriced)

Got 3 2009 pennies. And this was when they first came out.

He must have been banding them out in change.

It is always nice to get something good in your change.

Ain't it funny how something that is worth 4 cent makes us so excited.

You don't have to be the BEST you just have to be.......SLICK

One shop I went to once handed out change in older and non-"standard" coinage/change (non silver). Buffalo nickels, wheats, dollar coins, two dollar bills, and the occasional IHP. Usually low grade things that wouldn't sell, but it kept me going back.
