I think the intent of this measure is to try to prevent World War III. Anything that can be done to keep the Mideast from exploding is more often than not a good thing. As for the U.S. being the one obligated to fund it is a different story, but I don't have a problem with this measure per se.
So we give Israel the money (aid) to buy Millitary Equipment and ammo from us, to blow the **** out of some people that have been locked in (Palestinians), then we get to give 20 mil for relief of the same people we just financed shooting?

I may not be understanding this correctly but as I read it, it gives these Hamas Refugees a free ticket to come (migration assistance) to the US and they would be furnished housing and food and what ever they need because they are conflict victims of Gaza. I do have compassion for these people but is there a need to bring them all to the US where many here are struggling to get by without assistance.
After re-reading the Presidential Document in full, I find nothing about free ticket, housing or food. Just emergency funding. The little added information that came with the document was probably someone's personal views. So easy to let your emotions run wild when you read these wonderful news stories. Think I'll sort some pennies and calm a bit.

We have to keep the Middle East somewhat at peace and functioning until we get all the oil we need from them.
After that... US will just let go of Israel and people will leave them alone or die. Israel really doesn't give a crap one way or the other....leave us alone or leave us alone with your Israel funded death. Israel only puts up with the crap bc the USA makes them. We let Israel do what they want and they will make peace there. Their methods might not be worldwide approved though.
Never forget what Israel told Iraq during the first Gulf War when they threaten to use chemical weapons against Israel. Israel said we will nuke you if you do. They aren't going to put up with crap.
