Just checking Ebay reveals that many NGC graded ASEs go for more than $23. If shipping is nominal, then the cost is not bad. Consider that the basic ASEs are going for around $20 right now and they are not slabbed. I'd buy it if I wanted a slabbed coin to put away for years down the road. As far as silver goes, I'd keep looking for the plain ol' ASEs if I just wanted a troy ounce of 0.999 pure Ag.
to G power, it sounds to good to be true if you know that the coin is slabed NGC 69 or 70. in there ad it only states brillant unc . no # on the slabed coin in there ad, if you called them & they told you the grade of the coin you would receive # 69 or better its a good deal PEACE!
The add is on the 2nd page of the 2010 Red Book. The add said "free NGC MS-69 Certification... 2009 Silver American Eagle...and a free Bausch $ Lomb Coin collectors and jewelers loupe" I think it is a good deal and so I reserved one today, and will send a check out tomorrow. I will let you know how it turns out.
