Stopped by a bank on my lunch break and bought $5 in penny rolls. They gave me 2 machine wrapped rolls and 8 hand wrapped rolls. The machine wrapped rolls were pretty stantard. About 20% copper, but the hand wrapped rolls were all 85 to 95 percent copper. Found 3 dimes, 1 euro cent, 6 canadians, 11 wheats, and not 1 but 2 INDIAN HEADS.1905 and 1907. Not great condition but really cool. First time I have found those searching through pennies. But then again I have only been doing this about a month. I am hooked.
Nice finds! You did go back and ask if they had any more of those Customer Wrapped Rolls ASAP, right? PS - Push your luck and drop a Buck on the lotto, too.
Welcome Merc you have joined a fine group of collectors who dont use there commen cents, they get rid of them & save the 95% copper ones . a lot to be learned here stay tuned PEACE!!
