This takes the cake!!! Its very hypocritical to lecture people on this topic when the government itself cannot manage their own finances and is perpetrating the biggest financial ponzi scheme in its social security system.

Similar to what silverhalide said/asked, Who is going to teach the public about financial know how?
The Federal Government, the ultimate credit card junkie?
The banks, who loaned money to anyone who wanted to buy real estate AND had a pulse and who could fog a mirror?
Wall Street? (Too many references to Wall Street dirty deeds to mention in one sitting.)
The insurance companies, many of whom face financial losses due to their miscalculations in real estate going sour, unexpected payouts for claims, etc. etc.
Looks like the only resource left to offer financial know-how, without a hidden agenda to separate people from their money, are blogs or forums like this one. |
