If I do this right the link will take you to a place that sells tin ingots. That will give you some idea. One of the metal sites also list spot for it but I can't remember where I saw it You must be logged in to see this link.

Are you throwing that out?

All I can tell you is to call around. If your going to any towns near or far, call their scrap yards, tell them what you have and get a price first, before you go.Sometimes it "pays to have patience.Do your homework first.

Every scrap yard is different, so there is no way to find a "universal" buy price.

Yea i know there isnt a universal price. But i called a few places near me and 75 miles a way and some said 4 cents and some said 10 cents. I dont think they are thinking the same thing i have.

The term "tin", as used in the scrap metal industry, means steel sheet metal.

I bought 99.9 Sn shot today for $12.75/lb, 50 lb buckets. I haven't bought in a couple months, it was under $10/lb last month!

when talking to scrap yards about tin make sure they know your selling block tin (sn) they refer to thin iron(fe) as tin.

Selling Ryedale sorted USA cents

If you pick up 1.35 each
located MT/ND boarder.
after Ryedale sorting they are hand sorted to remove canadian then rechecked with Ryedale to insure all copper and count out $50 FV then placed in cloth bags and sealed with #1 copper wire.

I would be interested in buying it also. I'm sure I could pay more than the local yard.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

Between $6-$7 depending where you take it. Pure tin is actually priced relatively well. Check out my website below if you want to try and sell your tin or you are looking to buy some. We reach over 500 people a day who buy/sell different types of metals.
