Just wanted to touch base and let everyone know that I am still alive and kicking but haven't been able to read/post much lately due to slow dial-up at home that is causing too much frustration, i.e., raising blood pressure, etc. So today I had my husband drive me to a local library on his day off where I could use their high speed with my laptop. Even this isn't as fast as I think it should be.

My searching of coins lately, especially pennies, has been slower than I would like but I need to speed it up as the deadline for the first coin project I need to complete is June, 2010.

I did recently complete my first ever Brinks box of pennies and was sorely disappointed with the results. Usually I get pennies in less than $25.00 at a time, so that was an experience. Nothing worth reporting in finds from that box.

I guess the great finds of Christmas Day and the morning after ruined me for awhile. All the good stuff in just a couple of rolls.

I think of this forum and the members often as I have the TV on during the day and watch the change in copper, silver and gold prices. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back on and read/post more when the dial-up is more cooperative.

Happy Searching of coins, everyone.

Glad everything is okay. Keep us posted. Stay well.

Thanks, everyone. I have dosed myself with some good dark chocolate and am attempting to do a little reading and/or posting if my slow dial-up will cooperate.

I am attempting to sort more coins again, even if I can't get online too often to read/post.

Stay safe, everyone and happy searching.
