I just got to thinking, have any studies been done to show how quickly silver coins disappeared from general circulation after 1964? I haven't found any wild silver besides 1964 Kennedy halves in a while and got to wondering how quickly people snapped up silver once clads hit circulation.

My buddy was doing this as a kid in the mid 70's. So I would expect the % left to be very little, but still worth doing...

I have found 1/2 dozen franklins and 3 walkers this yr to date FYI.
