Hi all-
Don't know how it is going around the rest of the country, but around here it seems to be getting harder to get silver in halves at least!
When I started in Mar. 08 I could usually count on at least 3-4 40% per box, and 90%'s here and there. Now...nothing for weeks at a stretch- and I sort about $2000 a week. Even ONE 40% per box is a nice find.
Oh well..I'm eternally grateful for what I've found in the past- and I've had a precious few good days, believe me!

Nothing but a big 10-4 on finding less Ag when sorting out here in my neck of the woods.
My Cu percentage seems to be doing better, however. |

Hummmmm......158 40% out of 2 boxes last week. That was SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!
But the 3 skunk boxes that followed..........YUCK!!!!!!!!!
I have an idea....everyone stop sorting halves. I'll take the risk every week. |

| wow here in southeast I have been doing ok havent been skunked for a while but I usually average 5 or 6 per bag lately not a lot but better than playing the lotto |

Yes, I have noticed the same thing. Except for the occasional decent box, I'm getting a lot more onesies and twosies.
Slickeast, you don't count! I'd like to get that many out of 15 boxes! Your returns are phenomenal.
You are in a great area you lucky stiff, and I bet you've got it all to yourself!

| Things have slowed here as well. I have never really hit it big on fed orders. I have found most of my silver halves through customer wrapped deposited rolls. (CWRS). With cwrs, I have had some good strikes. Like I bought 9 rolls once and one of the rolls was all BU 64's. I once bought $400.00 and 25% were 40% halves. My last $1000 fed order had 3 franklins, 1 -64, and 5 - 40%. This was a huge improvement over the near skunks I had been getting. |

ok ok I just searched 4 boxes ($2000.00).....2 40%
fb101 I just got lucky last week. I have a notebook where I keep up with what I find. My total for the whole year will probably be less than that one week.
But I ain't gonna stop looking....and now I have 3 CU's that I can get bags from off the machine....watch out. |

I wonder how many 90 %'ers I'd need to find to break even if I bought WIZ1's (unsorted) bags and paid for shipping...
At least it would be beter than finding 3 or 4 NIFC's a box like I seem to be doing now.
Those 90 %'ers have been few and far between these first months of '09. |

| I had a good week last week as well, more specifically boxes delivered on Friday 13th, friday night 2 or 6 boxes produced 72 40%ers and 3 90%ers, then saturday one box out of 6 had 104 40%ers. Other than that there are alot of skunks out there waiting to spray ya haha. HH Mark |

Hi all-
Not to jinx it, but I've ALWAYS had pretty healthy 90% yields in halves. Best box ever was about 13 90% and 45 40%.
Dimes have always been a pretty reliable, albeit SLOW way to accumulate 90% for me.

| I quit for a month last August, then in early September on a whim I picked up a couple boxes and got 10oz, couple days later I got 6oz out of another 2. You may be right- it may be time for another sabatical, tonight I got one lone 40%er out of 4 boxes. Nah I'll just keep pluggin along takin the lil good with the bad. HH Mark |

| last night's 2 boxes of brinks, stinks. Found a bank that ordered Dunbar bags, we'll see about that Friday. Still doing $4,000 week, still rolling 40% each week and throwing several 90's in the safe. |
