They are Americans on ebay. They will buy anything. Maybe it is competition to be the first in your group to get some?

I have had a lot of inquiries from coin dealers. They'll bust them up and sell them in sets, rolls or individually and send some in for grading. I imagine there are some error hunters. Lots of prestige in being #1 to discover an error. I really don't care!
Here's the WEIRD part of the whole deal. I had to relist because I assumed they were D's. Never, ever had a box of new any type of coin around here but Denver mints. Every one is from Philly! I also noticed some other listings in the Houston area with nothing but P's.
Ummm, had just listed 10.00 worth and noticed the same thing TXTim did, there are no d mint marks on my pennies. Very Very strange I live just around the corner from him and can't seem to figure out how in the world p mint coins were shipped here hummmm...
