Interesting graphical representation of one trillion dollars, in $100 bills.

This should be added to the links section with what do certain amounts of pennies look like.

Thanks DJ.

I've added it to the megapenny project post. Very interesting indeed.

Just thought I would add my two cents, Ha Ha!

One dollar in FRNs is about .004 inches thick.

A stack of 100 FRNs would be a little less than half inch thick.

1000 FRNs would make a stack four inches thick.

10,000 would be 40 inches or three feet four inches high.

100,000 would make a stack aver 33 feet high.

1,000,000 FRNs would make a stack over 330 feet high.

It would take 1,666,375 FRNs to make a stack as high as the Washington Monument.

One hundred million FRNs stacked one on top the other would be taller than 26 Empire State Buildings or over 6.3 miles high.

A billion would be over 60 miles high.

10 billion over 600 miles high.

100 billion over 6,000 miles.

1 trillion over 60,000 miles.

And finally, a stack of FRNs equal to the federal budget would be would reach nearly to the moon or over 220,000 miles.

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.--Benjamin Franklin
