I have found 1 Indian Penny and 1 1909 Penny in circulation (Brinks wraps).

Today Im proud to say I am part of two more clubs. The 1943 Steel Cent club and the silver club! Not only did I find the 1943 cent but also a 1941 Canada Dime (Im assuming its silver). Reverse of the dime is extremely worn but the obverse looks great.

Otherwise this week I found a 1962 Canada quarter in Brinks rolls as well. Seems the Canadian silver santa is visiting Florida for the winter

Welcome to all the clubs! Sounds like it's been a good sorting week for you.

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Great - your 1941 Canadian dime and 1962 Canadian Quarter are both 80% Silver. Nice finds.

Major congrats! I found silver long before I found a wild 1943, although not long after I got my first 1943 is when I started doing some serious penny sorting and found a 1909 and an Indian Head in the same week! Now if I could just find some wild gold, I'll be a happy camper.

I've had a lot of 1943's lately. The branch that I get my pennies just pluck coins off the magnet and other things for that matter and drop them back into the sorter. I am very jealous of your canadian silver fines. The only silver I have found is a marked .925 post earing out of a bag of pennies. The same bag had 2 paperclips, and a washer as well.

I found a 1943 steelie in a sort last night, but it was so badly corroded and damaged it was barely recognizable, needed a 15x loupe just to barely make out the date, had to throw it into the zinc return bin.
