Think you pretty much hit the nail on the head for me... However, the trade and morgan would probably tie. Just because I don't have a BU Trade dollar to look at

This is only one coin I fancy, that surpasses all the rest in quality.

I am partial to Canadian coins - and this one especially.

On May 3, 2007, the Royal Canadian Mint unveiled a Gold Maple Leaf coin with a face value of One Million Dollars,[1] though the gold content was worth over $2 million at the time. It measures 50 cm in diameter by 3 cm thick and weighs 100 kilograms, with a purity of 99.999%. The artist is Stanley Witten. The coin is mainly a promotional product to give the mint a higher international profile.[1] The 100-kilogram coin was conceived as a one-off showpiece to promote the mint's new line of 99.999 per cent pure one ounce Gold Maple Leaf bullion coins[1] but after several interested buyers came forward the mint announced it would manufacture them as ordered and sell them for between $2.5 million and $3 million. As of May 3 2007 there were five confirmed orders

I cant lie...I do love those too, both the Liberty Head and St Gaudens equally. There's nothing like holding a chunk of gold like that and would love to own a couple of each myself.

Problem with questions like that are they pertain to an individuals preferences. Sort of like asking which is the best car, best TV show, etc. Naturally it is a decent poll but it all depends so much on the audience your talking to. If your post is only seen by younger collectors, you will get one type of results. Much older people usually have different taste, but not always either.

My favourite designs:
$20 St Gaudens*
Peace Dollar*
Walking Liberty half
Standing liberty Quarter*
Mercury dime
Buffalo nickel*
Wheat cent

*=don't actually own any myself

My favourite us coin I actually own would be the walking liberty half (the one I have is a well-circulated 1942). The only american silver dollar I have is a 1921 morgan, I find the eagle a bit unnatural looking though.
