Just imagine if gold fell (gasp!) below the melt value of that coin. The tellers at one of my banks throw me daggers with their eyes at 20 dollars in pennies rolled up when I deposit them.

So whose going to buy a coin the size of a man hole cover? Come to think of it, the coin does seem to have a couple of nice anti-theft features. First it would very difficult for one person to lift (they'd probably drop it in their foot and then sue the owner); second it might be a little difficult to resell. Another nice bonus is that you could it as the top of a coffee table. Of course I'd highly recommend using coasters for your drinks!
