If they are the regular Ike dollars I think they are more of a novelty that a collectable. I guess they will always be worth a dollar. But I'm like you in that I bought some. A bunch I paid more than a dollar for, and not sure what to do with them now except give them away to a younger generation as a gift.
1972 Ike from Philadelphia (no mint mark) with the proof reverse used for circulation strikes. The regular Circulation strike has 3 tiny islands under Florida, The Proof reverse has a flattened string of islands or one long line instead of 3 islands.
Keep an eye out for these and other errors. Maybe you have a silver clad that no one knows about yet.

I bought somewhere around 200 Ikes from a bank. The lady said they were the "Big honking silver dollars," so my heart got kinda pumped. Sadly, the only silver in there was one clad. But it was worth my time.
