This was sent to me.

Pork by the State

Very Interesting website. You can click on the stimuluswatch.org link or just click on any state below to see a complete list of pork for that state. There are cities listed at the top of each state's page and each state may have several pages of "stimulating" projects.

It's incredible. Boring perhaps, but interesting. How do these projects fit into the category of "stimulus"? Beats me........
***
What is immediately stimulative?
What might better be considered in separate spending bills?
What is social spending?
What programs, once initiated, would require indefinite ongoing funding?
And most important, "What's in it for ME, and MY district?"

Ha-ha! My states getting more PORK than WV!

HEY, WAIT. DC gets 8 projects and Delaware only gets 7!?!

WAIT A MINUTE, Rhode Island gets 116 projects, including 90 MILLION DOLLARS TO RENOVATE A HIGH SCHOOL? ONE HIGH SCHOOL??

Looks like my state just got some chitlins....

Did anyone else notice, when H signed the bill, the only other person on stage was Biden? If this was such a great bill, where were all the others that voted for it? Missing such a great photo op?

That would explain the bacon smell around town....

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

They don't. I used to think that the Marxists who have taken control of our government were just stupid. I used to use the signature line:

Be reluctant to attribute to malice that which may be adequately explained by stupidity

I am now thoroughly convinced that the Marxists know exactly what they are doing. I believe they are deliberately destroying our nation in order to replace it with a form of government more to their liking.

Not even a moron could ignore phone calls and emails running 95% + against a piece of legislation and vote for it anyway.

As far as I can tell, the cities within the states are
paying their normal bills. In effect bypassing the tax payers within the city or county that would normally pay for this (****). My city wasn't listed so I guess I get screwed.

It is called buying votes. Your city/state's reps and senators must have sold the vote for something else or the vote wasn't for sale.

I am going to start it now. Sanford/Paul 2012

`Everybody is ignorant. Only on different subjects.' Will Rogers

"This is the shabby secret of the welfare statists' tirades against gold. Deficit spending is simply a scheme for the "hidden" confiscation of wealth. Gold stands in the way of this insidious process. It stands as a protector of property rights. If one grasps this, one has no difficulty in understanding the statists' antagonism toward the gold standard." Alan Greenspan, 1966.

I'm not sure it is so much vote buying as it is dancing to the tune of the fiddle player.
