I have around 1200 wheats I'd like to list in the buy it forum but don't know what a fair price would be. I have 213 wheats that are pre-40 with most being teens and 20's along with 983 1940-50's. Also 13 steel cents and 7 really nice, like new condtion wheats all from the 50's except for a 1919 in-the-red cent that looks like it was made last year. Total is 1216 cents, +/- 3 cents. The majority of these I found from one box of pennies that was a wheat cent dump at my local bank last year. Any idea what a fair price to ask for these would be? I'd like to avoid placing them on ebay if possible. Thanks.
on here 4 cents each shipped sells within minutes. 4 cents each plus shipping may take a while longer. I've currently bought my limit on wheats - about 250k wheats in the last 2 months.
However I'll be happy to be the first to offer you $50.00 for the group shipped.
I didn't sell them. I'm not selling them here on this forum. Just trying to get an idea on what they are worth. If I sell them, I'll list them in the proper forum soon. Thanks.
The wheats are sold. He is just asking the going rate. If you are interested in buying them than pm cupronickle
There was no disrespect meant in my post. He saw the post a few minutes after it was made, and he made a bid that did not make sense for me to bid higher on. That's all. It was quick and to the point. No messing around with small bids, but direct - and as you said, fair.
Thanks for the info guys. I must be too high as nobody want them. I listed the 1919 penny (near uncircualted) all by itself on ebay. It's over in the members only auction section.
