How about, rather than each state go it alone, we just split up along red state / blue state lines? The red states have most of the land based nukes, but the blue states have the Navy bases. Of course, the blue states could be starved into submission, or simply nuked.
I'd go along with secession if the seceding states were dedicated to a return to founding Constitutional principles, and open to reunification ONLY when every vestige of our current federal system is burned to the ground, ground into dust, tilled under, and salted to the point that it would forever remain fallow.

I would sign up.
Federal Spending mostly benefits those is DC, not the states.
I don't think a lot of red states in the south want to be tied to midwest or west. |

I was a little over the top suggesting that nuking the blue states would be appropriate. I take that back.
I am just sick to death of seeing more and more of our income going to lazy turds, while the government takes their ever increasing cut. |
