That's better than any price I can find online. If nothing else, you could probably turn around and sell them on Nucleo or eBay for a quick profit |

agreed. You could get your money back quick and keep the profits in silver at $0.00 per oz. |

$300 is .723 x 300 = 216.9 troy ounces of silver.
Assuming $2700 with no shipping and insurance costs ($300 x9), the price you pay per ounce is $12.49 per troy ounce. Hard to beat that right now.
Also, if you are looking to resell, people are always interested in 90%, since its "real money" to them, and it also has intrinsic value with the silver - since some people are spooked by bullion.
Anyway, I'm sure you know all this , but based on these facts, I would say BUY! |

Hard to get 90% around 9x here. If I was into the market I'd buy.. I'd probably buy it now. |

Yeah if it was cash and carry, with no shipping fees or taxes, and anonymous, then by all means do it. You can either sit on it for awhile or break it down into $10 face lots and make a little profit on each. |
My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.

That is a good price (even if there was a modest shipping cost). I'd buy them. If even 1/2 of them are nice you could realize a numismatic premium should you choose to sell quickly. You don't see many 90% Quarters at local shops these days. |

I beg to differ. When I buy I usually have a choice between denominations. My dealer says his dollars and halves are the first to go, followed by the dimes. He almost always has at least one bag of quarters, mixed styles. 9X face is good now.

If you have the cash on hand, buy now. In that batch of 90% quarters there might be a semi-rarity waiting for you to find it. |
I change with the times- but like silver coins found in your change I stay the same. ***************** The United States of America started out as the new Republic of Rome.

Allow me to amend my previous post: I'm unable to find many 90% Quarters in the coin shops that I get to frequent in the Tacoma and South Seattle area of Washington state. The last shop I was in that had any was offering very worn slicks for 13x face, they had about 20 in the box they were displaying.
It seems that 90% Quarters are not so rare in other places of the USofA.
I'd still buy as many of the 1200 at 9x face if I could. |
