In the free section under TCM (Turner classic) there should be a great short (I think)of the evils of buying on credit and how it will cause a currency collapse.
I saw this on TCM today, and I no longer use comcast, but I know the shorts used to be available there (free area).
This was done as a public warning in the early 1940s -
