I found this last night while sorting with my Ryedale. Anyone have any idea what it is? Also does it have any Value?

That is the token that comes in the mints sets from the mint.

It does not have a real value but it is a cool find.

I have one of those. I was told the same thing, that it comes from a mint set. Here's a link that shows that coin with others. Its in the bag underneath the first bag.

I know they sell the dumb things in lots on ebay.Who would buy a bunch of them?

The only value I would see is if it's from a pre 1982 set since it should be struck on the same planchet as pennies. So if it's 3.1 grams, it's copper just the same as a penny. :) But no, I wouldnt buy them unless the melt ban was lifted.
My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.
