Interesting! I check 7 banks almost weekly for new '08 pennies to give to the little ones to squirrel a few rolls away. The best I find is a few '08s sprinkled in the boxes. Send a few of those boxes to MN. Could it be that Lincoln don't like our cold weather here!!!
I was able to swap them for regular boxes at one of my great banks with excellent tellers. I told them to buy them and resell them on ebay. They were astonished to think you could get $40 - $45 a box for them!
I have a standing offer from a gentleman @35 per box in lots of 4 at a time. I am saving the last $100 for me and the kids though.
