$425 of mixed coin from a UNICEF drive at mom's school. Zero silver and minimal Ni. got 6 or 7 wheats and I'll sort the pennies later for copper.

My Brink's dime rolls come in see through plastic. I edge sort them with a bright light and magnifier while they are still in the plastic. If I had to open up paper rolls, I wouldn't bother with dimes since they generally produce only 1 silver dime per $250 box.

With halves, it's worth opening up the paper rolls. I check each half for dates and I do not edge sort the halves. If you edge sort halves you miss the proofs, NIFCs, foreign coins, and even some 40% halves. My Brinks boxes produce 8+ silvers on average.

Well since dimes are the news *cough* I got a box of string rolls and zippo today. I will dump them quick as I have halves coming the next two days.

I have 1 box niks and two of cents to sort tonight.

I got two 40% from two adjacent tellers today! Can't complain about that.
I have a teller helping me here.

EZ Money.. dimes are even easier to edge check than halves. Just pour a roll in your hand.. edge check 'em.. drop directly in the automatic rolling machine and hit the button. Virtually no hold time.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

Lots of coins found while getting rid of a lot of change. Coins from all over plus some steelies.

Two boxes halves today from old bank..

2- 64's
4- 40%ers
1- 1985S
4- NIFC

New bank tomorrow. Hoping to catch the other box like last weeks home run silver queen special...

Jinxed for sure...

Never know, hey, found a teller with Ikes today and for the second time in a week found a silver proof among them. This time it was bright and new. (1974S)

I picked up a bunch of 90% and .999 bars and rounds today at yesterday's melt. Boy did PM's dance today. Is this gonna continue?

Been having amazingly manic days which are fabulous producers. Part of my affliction.

I was dumping this weeks coins this AM and one teller who I have befriended said he had a few halves. I had just dumped a couple thousand dollars worth so the irony made me smile. I spotted a silver clad and asked for only that one. He asked why, so I told him.
I was not sure if this would be the right thing, teaching him about silver, but when I asked if he would be looking for them now he said, yes....he would collect them for me!

Were the Canadian dimes silver (1968 and earlier)?
