My very first IH, in the 47th box I've hand-sorted! A very sweet 1901 in EX condition, with full details and bold strike on both sides. It's a keeper. |

I got a 1907 IH last night on my 5th box of the year (just started a couple of months ago). My fiancé found one in her change this month(1905). I have a 1897 I found about two years ago in my change. I wonder what's in the 11 boxes I have left. |

I picked up a String box on December 17, and found a 1907. It looks like it was found with a metal detector. |

So I'm in my sorting center(garage)the other night and my wife comes knockin, "whatcha doin?" I had just completed sorting one bag which had a higher then average amount of wheats,so I throw another bag out on the table figuring she can find a few.Well this bag didn't have many wheats so I let her go while I cleaned the ryedale up.Next thing I hear is "wow, look what I found". She found a 1905 indian, what luck! I'm glad she found it,gave her the thrill of finding a old coin. Maybe she "understands" why I do this a bit more now. |

Seems this is going to be a lean year for me, but I found #2 of the year today. A 1904! |

Found a 1905 tonight. It would be in good condition but has clip marks on its perimeter, almost like it was used as a spacer on a bracket or something. Oh well. Kind of bittersweet. I just as well not have found it because of the damage. Maybe that is why it ended up in the bank bag. Someone figured to pass it on for the heck of it? I found an IHC some months ago but it was cut in half, me finding the lower, dated half portion. I guess you have to figure many coins just will not make it to the 100+ y.o. status without something happening to them along the way eventually. |

perhaps this could be moved to the tracking threads forum "retroactively," as it seems somewhat useful information to come back to... |
