It wasn't a buffalo or V nickel or even a war nickel, but to me it was exciting.
In one of the CWRs I searched yesterday I found a 1939 (not a D ) that looks to be in XF or AU condition. It looks so new that I had to check it several times thinking I was having dyslexia with the date.
