Many of the halves I come across have a film on them. Sometimes its a yellowish, varnish, kind of look. I soak them in finger nail polish remover and scrub with a worn,medium, bristle tooth brush. If that doesn't do it, I add some soft scrub diluted with water and scrub again. How do y'all clean your coins?
