Right now on the history channel a program is on about the great depression............ The repeal of prohabition, but how about FDR taking away the right to own gold?

Sadly, the History Channel does seem to have lost it's way... I have also seen too much revisionist history, political correctness and flat out wrong info on that channel to give it any credibility anymore.
Has anyone noticed how the are also changing the pronunciations of famous person's names? Su-dam vs. Sad-amn, Bush vs. Boosh, Gengis vs. Jengis (bunch a smarty-pantses?).
