not braggin, just sayin...
Got 5.24 in wheats from $100 sorted tonight.
10 1943 steel pennies
2 indians 1895 and 1907
5.24 in wheats from 1912 on up.
and 2 silver dimes 1920 merc and 1958 rosie.

With the copper price suffering, it's nice to get these injections from time to time. It's happened about 4 times now in 3 years of sorting.
I'll go through the wheats and see if theres any better dates. I saw a 1926 d but it's in rough shape.

I think that you have the right to with that kind of haul. Nice going.

congrats. How did you know to buy the dimes? Do you sort them on a regular basis?

That is an excellent haul. 2 IH's in one batch, is that a record?

The dimes were in the loose penny bag.
Usually dimes in a loose penny bag, indicates the teller unwrapped customer wrapped rolls (CWR), anticipating sending them in on the armored car. They were in the heavy printed fed bags, and this branch has no lobby or behind counter sorter. I've gotten one of the other good dumps from this bank before.
This indicates the dimes were mistakenly wrapped up in the penny CWR.
Never sure exactly what happens behind the counter with the tellers, but it's my best guess.

I'm going to switch from boxes to the one bank that lets me buy the bags from their counter.
I probably won't find Ag, but I'm hoping to get my Wheaties!

Very nice, indeed. It's good to hear that it is possible to happen more than once.

Enjoy.
