Went to the bank today to drop the deposit and pick-up a change order for my employer. I added a $25 penny box to the stores order and paid for that out of my pocket.
I get home and start my hand-sorting. After the first roll I'm thinking wow...that's my first roll of solid copper and man that was a lot of wheats. Second roll is the same thing. And so on and so on.
When all was said and done I realized that I had bought a box of solid copper with more wheats than memorials. But the more wheats made sense when I realized that not one single penny was dated later than 1965.
Final stats were:
2 Wild Indians
1937 Wheaties
561 Memorials
I'm gonna make another change run tommorrow for sure.

I think it's because I jump on the spammers. All it really does is allow me to delete the spam posts, which is fine. I can't say how angry I get when some !@#$%#@! feels a need to post their trash here. This is the only forum I've ever found that is nice and peaceful, no trash language and no trashing each other. Great find. When you go back tomorrow be sure to pack lots of cash and ask for any rolls of nickels, dimes, quarters, half dollars, and big dollars they have. Chances are they turned in more than just pennies.
