Hi all,
I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday weekend! I just wanted to report that while sorting through $5 worth of bank wrapped, paper double shotgun rolls that I took just to be polite...I barely got any copper (only 6), but I got 2 Canadian zincs that I will take with me the next time I go, and my big prize was a 1940 King. Is there a King club I can join?
I was wondering if you think it is worth it to set aside any VF-AU zincs that I find in these rolls? It would probably take years to be able to sell them for anything, but at least I would feel like I was getting something out of the skunk rolls.
For lack of a better word, do some of you feel that there is a "conspiracy", that large banks are harvesting coppers in the US? I know some of you have had luck with bank wrapped rolls and that many haven't. I searched the forums on this and thought I'd rekindle the discussion if I may.
Have a good night!

I think there should be two King clubs, one with a Crown, full beard and mustache as well as one shaven, dapper and ready to become Mr. Simpson. Maybe some of the contributers from the former Great White Colony to our North may have something to say, eh?
The last year of the Memorial back, 2008, has been rumored to be a low mintage. It may be nice to have a role each of P's and D's? I only need 32 more nice P's to have my two roles.
As far as Cu conspiracies go, nope, never in the Good Old USofA. (Do you think that might get me removed from "The List"?) |
