Finally sold my first box of copper!

You must be logged in to see this link.

That makes the 50 pound box I have for myself almost free. Even better than face value.

Way To Go,
Do you have a strategy for the next box?
I hope you are able to bust through the 2 Cent barrier!
PS - If you happen upon good luck, push it. Go hog wild and plunk an FRN from the sale down on the Lotto.

There's profit if you melt things!!

You sold it with free shipping, so you have to discount the cost involved.

What will it cost to ship that? I imagine it won't be cheap to ship 50 lbs. That poor mailman!

Nice job Arron,
Box it up nice and strong in a Flat Rate shipper and you'll be all set.

If you use preprinted shipping through your PayPal account you can get the shipping down to $9.30.. and you get free delivery confirmation. Be sure to check for my post in the members only section on the proper way to ship pennies and you will be fine on shipping.

Way to go Aaron!! Really, every sale is a reason to do a little dance in this economy, that's a damn fine price!

My postal carrier picks up the mail on a broomstick (if you know what I mean). I use to do alot of sales online so I have had to deal with her at various times before. Usually if someone orders late in the day after I schedule the pickup, she won't take the package unless its on her list to pickup. Or sometimes I only have media mail and she told me if it wont fit in the mail box she wont take it without at least 1 priority mail package as well.

Today will be sweet! I have 5 media mail packages as well but I am taking those to the post office on my way to work. Dont want her dropping a 50 pound box on top of a record album!
