I have always really just focused on purchasing coins/bullion for the silver value. For a couple of weeks I have been building a couple of sets. I have been buying the best coin I can afford in each year & m/m.

This coin almost looks too nice... and I was wondering what you thought about it:

I dont know, maybe Im too picky sometimes. But I like coins without all those dents and dings all over the face on the front especially. This one looks almost too smooth I guess and I have already asked the seller if he could send me a bigger picture.

Thanks in advance!

Well... It looks pretty good to me. I personally wouldn't bid more than $20, but thats just me.

How bad do you want it?
Sometimes it's worth it to bite the bullet and pay too much just so you can finish the set.
I'm pretty sure the value will only go up, and complete sets are (usually) worth more when (if) you decide to sell.

Auction Sentry has worked pretty well for me for several years.. it got me a bag of copper pennies for $46 a few nights ago while I was sorting.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

I think the price has gotten a bit high on this one.. even if it really is as nice as it looks. Not saying the coin was whizzed.. but they used to do that in the old days to get nice surfaces like that. You wouldn't be able to tell from the pic, but you would once you were able to examine it under a magnifying glass.
