The deflation-inflation two-step: Too complex for deflationsts to grasp?

By mistaking the short term for the long term, they are missing the trade of the century

(It is along read from itulip, but worth it.)

Their arguement 'deflation first short term, inflation long term' seems to be what has been going on in the economy for decades.

(Like all finds on the internet, take all findings with a grain of salt, or salt substitute if you are on a sodium restricted diet.)

As I've been reading similar articles, the illustration that keeps coming to mind is a tsunami--the water first recedes a long way from the beach when the offshore quake hits, then roars back with a vengeance. We're just in the first stage...and the waves heading this way aren't going to be fun.
