A taboo subject, but totally fascinating IMHO

Can anybody guess who the article is about by my title? I couldn't, if I hadn't read it already...

Disclaimer: I just looked around at other parts of that site and I just want to say that I don't share many of the views expressed there. Also, the rest of the site really makes me question the validity of the article.

Not to highjack your thread horgad, but I'll add that any site built in support of Ernst Zündel has no place being linked here.

Ernst Zündel is/was very famous in Canada for his outragious statements and many court battles. I had lost track of him so I checked wikipedia. You must be logged in to see this link. <---Now that is an interesting article indeed.

A German jail cell is a fine place for Mr.Zundel, even better then a Canadian jail cell because I don't have to hear about his court battles on the news anymore. The last Canadian Judge to deal with him, Justice Blais found that "Mr. Zündel's activities are not only a threat to Canada's national security, but also a threat to the international community of nations" according to the article.

I learned another very funny thing from the wiki article - check out the Ancestory section!

might cause “like-minded individuals to engage in violence.”

“thought crime”

"security risk”

And yet the sanctimonious Canadians and Europeans are so quick to bash and criticize Bush and the Patriot act.

He's a whacked out old man, real security risk... Since when is a screwed up opinion a crime???

EXACTLY. I have been trying to figure out how to respond without going off for a bit now. I will agree with what bluegill has said.

Go read the Wiki article to see the Americans were not to fond of him either. I love freedom of thought as much as the next guy - but inciting hate crimes for ethnic, religious, or other groups is just wrong.

I disagree. He had no hold over anyone. They all have the free choice to act or not and their own free will.

The only acceptable of use of violence is in physical self defense. When individuals choose to violate the rights of others, be it physical, property, or civil, then they should be held accountable both through the social justice system and financial reimbursement.

"Hate Crime" ... what the heck is that? If I shoot you for the color of skin or ideology or whatever your just as dead as if I shot you for the $5 in your pocket. This whole "hate crime" racket is simply a subversive way to reinforce the differences and stereotypes to keep the people divided. Please do not fall for that crap.

You are either free to say what you want and face the rebuttals of an open honest society, or you are not. I can think of no greater form of slavery than to take away the ability to freely express ones thoughts and opinions.

I would like to take the time someday to research the past German government controlled, work-based economics. Regardless of ALL the marks against them, their recovery from hyper-inflation was nothing short of amazing.

Do you think if someday the US decided to go back to government issued money of any type, fiat or otherwise, without private bankers calling the shots that we would find ourselves fighting for our survival against some shadowy, nebulous banking cartel or would the banks congratulate us on a job well done and we all live happily ever after?

Anyhow, that website is not the place to start a serious study on the subject...

Sadly, the central banking cartel (aka the FED) will not let that see the light of day.

"...we would find ourselves fighting for our survival against some shadowy, nebulous banking cartel..." is the answer.
