With all the talk about inflation on hard money forums, do you also consider your penny/nickel hoard as a possible hedge or insurance against deflation or bank closings?

i hope one day (within 5 years?) i can sell my 100% nickel 5 cent pieces(canadian) in 2 to 3 times it's face value

teach your kids to sort pennies, and they will not spend your money like crazy
