I have three gold colored half dollars. One has a small lincoln impression. They have other dates stamped on them. 1960 on one side of kennedy and 1985 on the the other side of kennedy. Anybody got any clues?

Thanks L1011. I just opened a roll of what I believe is "mint state" 2000 halves. I'm gonna keep em for a while. Awhile back, I found a roll of 2002's that were mint state.

Hi there-

I have one. It might have been a former jewelry piece or in a bezel at one point. But, I'm pretty sure it is silver.

Only when they CAN'T have it, ......THEN they'll want it.

I love Cents. If you get an UNC box, you win. If you get a regular circ. box, you win. If you get a zinc box, you don't lose....so you still win.

Gold "plated" clad halves are a (used to be?) common incentive for sheeple to buy other "valuable" coins. I've found about 12 or so over the years.
I toss them back.
I'd rather keep AU/BU clads I find that shine so brightly and are nick free they have to be put into a folder.

There's profit if you melt things!!
