Poll Question:
What's your guess...will silver break the $20.00 an ounce mark in this year?

I know predictions like this may not be worth much, but just for fun,

Do you think silver will.....

Choices:

Pass $20 this year and keep going
Break $20 before years end but fall back some
Not reach $20 this year, but will in the next few years
Not pass $20 this year or any year in the near future
Not only not reach $20 this year, but will keep falling from the present level
Stay just about where it is for the rest of the year.
Other - (please explain)

As manipulated as the market is I do not think that TPTB can keep up the shell game enough to keep silver under $20.00 this year. The U.S. economy is in serious trouble and I am not convinced that the FED can fix it now. The dollar has had its hayday and is getting kicked to the curb by the rest of the world. How hard it gets kicked will determine how fast it hits the curb and falls down the storm drain into the sewer.

When silver was at $15 a few days ago $20 seemed close. Now the chances of seeing $10 silver is possible too. Still, I feel we will see $20 silver later this year.

I think $20 silver is an easy thought. People are beginning to see the dollar drop. All resources are going up in relation. I am working on the assumption that by January you will see the following fairly average prices:

Silver $20 / ounce

Gold $900 / ounce

Wheat $15 / hundred

Oil $110 / barrel – It has been interesting how the local news has been talking about oil in the 100-120 range not being any concern

Gas $4 / gallon

Milk $5 / gallon

I can’t see the politicos letting inflation getting much worse than this because we are entering into the campaign season. Just before a presidential election the Interest Rates will drop and the economy will speed up. Just goes to show how much the politicos do control the economy.

My guess is no better than random.
I will say this though,
I'm still buying at present prices.

I always wait until I have $1000 FRNs that I can spare, then I go to the coin shop and walk out with the physical stuff in my hand.
When I first started to accumulate PMs back in 2003,
I used to get 1 ounce of Gold and 45 ounces of Silver for my $1000 FRNs.
This last time I got 1ounce of gold and 9 ounces of silver for $1000 FRNs.
And yet, I'm still buying (When I can).

It is funny to look at the year 2006 above, not 2007.
