While picking up some nickels yesterday, one of the tellers asked me about a silver dollar she was looking at selling. After talking to her I determined she had an ASE.
But, it had been handled and carried around by her kids and has some dirt and subtle wear on it and lost its mint luster. I told her it probably lost most if not all it's numismatic value, but it was still 1 Toz. of Ag.
I told her I'm by no means an expert and if it is still worth more, she needs to check with someone more qualified. I offered to buy it for spot value. She said yes and I picked it up this morning.
The silver [is] mine, and the gold [is] mine, saith the LORD of hosts. Hag 2:8 [/b] He created it. He controls it. He gave it to us for His use. Why did we turn from sound scriptural currency that PROTECTS us?
Stop lying - they say there is no coins worth having at the banks! Don't you know this hobby is a waste of time? (Very nice score Bluegill :)
