Sounds like it to me. There are bids however. Hopefully they are bidding on the tray and not the silver.

Live free or die. Plain and simple.
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams
Silver on copper holds up better than silver plate. Silver plate is done using electrolysis, the tiny particles of silver are "shocked" onto a certain metal using electricity, and a solution of liquid. Almost any metal can be electroplated with silver. Silver on copper is similar to what the Sheffield plating method was. It is where a thick sheet of copper is flattened with a thin sheet of silver. It is flattened and then formed into whatever. Absolutely NO silver value. These can be found a plenty at Goodwill, Salvation ARmy, etc. Silver on copper also gets straight to the point! Whereas silver plated makes you wonder what metal is under the plate.
