For you guys in the market for junk silver how much would you pay for a 100 dollar bag of solid or mixed lots of junk silver.. When i say solid i mean all halves or all quarters ect.. |When i say mixed i mean with quarters halves dimes in it
Roughly 9.5 - 9.7 x face so $950 to $970 right now if you can find it. To me it doesnt matter what the mix is, but some places charge a small premium for all halves.
My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.

yea thanks kavajava i know about that one but i know everyone is getting more than that for there junk right now... I had seen it go for 1100 on some websites i guess that is to steep huh
I don't know about $1100 being too high... I think that's what APMEX was selling $100 90% bags for the last time I actually saw some for sale. Junk 90% has gotten REAL thin on the ground since spot price tanked.
When silver was knocking on $10 flat APMEX had some $100 bags for sale in the high $800s, and I'm still kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on it

i picked up a few silver halves at a yard sale the other day for 4 times.. I did not try to get that i just said how much for the halves and he said 2 dollars i said sold... I also picked up some silver clads for a dollar. He had them in with regular clad halves i dont think he knew.. but i also picked up all of that
