Pay for everything with actual exchange of your labor and fill in the gaps with your discretionary precious metals and copper coins? Could it happen gradually? This internet thing is a perfect way to line up sellers of labor and buyers of it. Perhaps we will see an actual contraction in prices as people find there is not much cash to go around to pay for all the inflated things society has manufactured and high-balled in price aka most everything.
We can only hope that the Interent will be on-line/active if things get that bad.
yep--that will be the problem if power is erratic or off--am considering getting a battery back up system myself--but not sure how useful it will be--depends on how long power will be out...
