I dont know if this helps, but today I paid $3 for a BU 1967 40%. I know i got ripped off from a bullion stand point, but I really dont mind since I only bought one, and it is shiny!

I find it amusing to see people selling 1/2s on eBay that most of us know can be bought at any bank for face value and that the banks really like to unload. I understand selling the silver ones, but not the common ones with no intrinsic metal value.
I've traveled all over the US (46 states plus territories) and spent over 2.5 years going to University in the US and not once did I encounter a 1/2 in circulation. In fact, until I started CRH I did not realize they existed even with a small interest in coins. So I really understand why the general public would believe they have collector value.
Nice little buy - the non-silver ones will spead nicely for face value.
