I was in an antique store in lancaster, Pa yesterday and passed on a 10 oz silver bar for $129. Did I mess up?
If I did and someone out there wants to try and snag it, let me know and I will tell you where I say it.

Like this?

They usually sell for darn near $200 on eBay.
I just snagged one on eBay the other day for lower than they usually sell and used my 'eBay Bucks' credit on it. Ended up with a pretty good deal |

I one time bought 1 pound of what I thought and my dealer thought was pure silver.
This article saved me money. You must be logged in to see this link.
I showed my dealer a print out of this thing and we weighed it,
I got him to hack saw the rim of the coin and sure enough copper. I said I would keep it with the hack saw mark if it was silver and I get all cash back if it failed.
I got all my money back and got to keep the coin.
Got to love it.

I was on vacation with the family. It was late in the day, the store was closing, and I was not sure if it was a reputable mint or not.
Yes, it was exactly like the one in picture posted above.
I knew that I should have bought it but... |

Update on this silver bar. I got to cackleberry and found the bar still there along with a "mate" - One of those 10 oz. with a peace dollar pic on the left an a Morgan on the right. HOWEVER, the price on them is now $279 each. Had to take a pass...... |

I'm really sorry about the mistake. Like I said, it was late in the day and I had the kids with me and I may have been distracted. I would still swear that it said $129.
