I was given a good sized lot of small anodized aluminum pieces today, maybe 40-50 lbs of it, and was wondering if anodized pieces are treated differently by the scrap yard. Can I throw it in with my regular scrap aluminum pieces or does it need to be seperated? Thanks all!
should be able to throw it in alltogether. I have taken several smaller pieces in (Heat sinks from circuit boards) and have always gotten normal pricing
I found the best thing to do is just call your scrap yards. Every scrap yard is different, not only in what they pay you per lb/ton but also in how they categorize things.
They don't mind you calling, they are quite used to it.
